created the visual design and layout for a cocktail menu for a bar in Helsinki whose concept is based on the Chinese zodiac. The illustrations for the menu were inspired by the bar’s atmosphere and the characteristics of each zodiac sign: every character was designed to reflect both the traits of its sign and the ingredients of the drinks.

The bar’s ambiance, neon lights, a cozy living-room feel, and the vibrant energy of the nightlife guided the visual style. The illustrations were created in Clip Studio Paint, while Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign were used for additional design and layout work.

This project combines my passion for character design with its application to a cohesive visual identity. I believe it demonstrates how character design and illustration can successfully enhance a concept like this.
